My first experience was my friends daughter 2nd birthday party. The place is lovely and welcoming very clean with lots of variety of play including a dancing woody from Toy Story joined in and danced with the children it was so nice not seen that before and the little ones didn’t feel scared of the character has he played and danced instead of just standing and waving like they do at most play places and small children can get scared in my experience. So yes fantastic place 10/10
Great soft play area to take your children', it has areas for younger children and toddlers alike and there is a diverse menu which accomdates all needs. The staff are friendly and professional and on occasion they will provide activities at the back of the centre such as painting for the kids which is a nice touch. The centre has ample parking also.
Poor customer service. I attended a birthday party and wasn't allowed entry without paying for my newborn. He literally can't sit up by himself, he didn't enter the play area once, he didn't set foot on the floor or even open his eyes, yet I had to pay for him to go in.
The party had a couple of children that didn't turn up, another parent had paid for an additional child, yet was told they couldn't sit and eat with the party. The same amount of food was served regardless of how many turned up, and some went to waste. No reason the additional child couldn't take the place of another no show.
Will not be returning or recommending.
Attended a birthday party, had to pay £3 for our 6 month old to enter and sit on our lap! Disgusting! It was clear the staff deal with this being brought up as an issue regularly as they could not give a damn. Incredibly poor attitude. Will not be returning and will be spreading the word.
Traveled 1h here for my sons 1st birthday today because it was the best reviewed soft play and looked suitable for my other 2 children too. The website doesn't let you pre book and says you don't need to either. We were turned away because it was full, along with 3 othwr families with incredibly upset children so the need for prebooking is quite apparent. As they also have a sister site locally I called and asked if they had any capacity left to be rudley told they didn't do pre bookings and would have to come to find out. I arrived within 10 minutes and was told they were full, why couldn't I have been told that before I made the journey? So disappointing, certainly won't be making any reccomendations to vist here soley based on customer service
Great soft play place. Helpful staff. Good value food. Nice coffee and great music. Highly recommend a visit. Note that google maps takes you down kingfisher way and it’s actually just after on the left
I attend the play centre today with my youngest daughter my disabled daughter who is a full time wheelchair users and my middle daughter who recently broken her ankle so is in a cast and currently on crunchers! My older two daughters are school ages!
I was charged £2 for my older children to spectate knowing that they are unable to get around never mind participate.
If you have a child age 10
Or a disabled child please bear this in mind!
This is their reply!
Anyway this complaint isn’t about the money is the fact in all the years I have attended play centres my disabled child as never been charged to spectate. The webpage does not state children over the age of 10 must pay £1 to spectate as the age group is up to age 10 on the play frame rules so anyone over that is classed has a adult and gets charged a £1 same as the adults..we supply lots of facility’s for the ones that sit and watch children play to…if your hot we stick the air con on
if your to cold we stick the heating on
if you need to use the nice clean toilets that get professionally cleaned and hand wash/etc we do that to.
we could also if your saying there not at adult charge £6 but we don’t.
we also like to say if it wasn’t busy allow you to stop has lind as you like…
lighting to forgot that one
just a few things for a £1
it really is a great place to chill for a £1.
The basic system is child or adult
Everyone has to pay to enter regardless of age
We have grandparents who clearly cannot go on the frame and they pay £1 as thats our rules to help keep the business a float, not for greed
I’m referring to my disabled child not adult!
Please don’t misunderstand it’s not the money it’s just I am shocked by such a poor response I was even told at the counter the cost was because I of chairs …. I never got a refund when I stated my child has her own!!
Love coming here with our grandson and his mum. They really put effort into all they do. We met Santa thereand he was amazing. I even wanted to sit in his knee 🥳 …
